Try reinstalling the game!
And I think you did not download the language pack which is optional in ENGLISH and JAPANESE.
Download at least one of these and put in the same folder with setup files and then install the game,
it should work then.

Don’t install in C: to aviod unpack errors i’m installing on F:
and still got same error as you did hope it helps for you to install to other hdd then your os hdd, hope it helps.

The game didn’t launch when i was on AMD Driver version 20.1.1 for my RX 480, so I upgraded to v20.1.3 and it now works flawlessly
For those on 2k (2560×1440 ) and more, please, in order to get 60fps ingame, you need to run at borderless fullscreen, vsync on or off, it doesn’t matter. (mine is on)
cutscenes are at 30fps, so, no need to be alerted..
FOV is poorly made, because everything is too close to the character, but luckily there is an easy mod to fix it here at : https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonballzkakarot/mods/1?tab=description&BH=0 (need to create an account. do it. it’s worth it)
if your resolution isn’t supported (like me for example), just be patient and give the modder some time.
I have zero crash what so ever, i play all at max, and i get 55-60fps in game + combat.

The game has a problem. In some cutscenes the game has the background music but the characters’ voices are muted.
