Zwei: Ilvard Insurrectionfor PC / Windows is an action RPG developed by Nihon Falcon, creators of game series such as The Legend of Heroes or Ys. The game was initially released in Japan in 2008. Ilvard's Uprising is based on Zwei II Plus, an improved and extended version of Zwei that was released in Japan in 2009.
The game takes place in a fantasy world where, as a result of the war between demons and humans (with the help of dragons), magic is not as strong and present as it once was. Therefore, the inhabitants of the continents of this world that float in the clouds can no longer communicate because one can only pass from one to the other through magical portals. However, thanks to rapid technological advancement, people soon solved the problem. As we begin our adventure, airplanes become more and more popular in the world of Zwei.
The story begins when a treasure hunter named Ragna Valentine crashes his plane and is seriously injured. Alwen Du Moonbria, a vampire, saves him from death. It results in a blood contract between the two that will forever link their destinies together.
Zwei: Ilvard Insurrection for PC / Windows is an action RPG in which we will spend most of our time exploring and fighting. The game has a pretty cool combat system, but its mechanics are pretty unusual. Ragna uses melee weapons and Alwen relies on combat spells. We activate physical and magical attacks with different buttons. When we do so, we are almost instantly given control over a character assigned to that given attack type.
