Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysmis a dynamic, two-dimensional fighting game for PC, funded on the Indiegogo website and inspired by classic Capcom titles and the golden age of Neo Geo arcade machines. It is an improved and improved version of the title developed by three former developers of the SNK studio, mainly known as co-creators of The King of Fighters series.
Original Yatagarsu has been published only in Japan in 2011, with the second game released by British company Nyu Media, which specializes in delivering independent titles from Japan to the west.
Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm for PC combines myths and history of Japan, as the title suggests (Yatagarasu is the name of the three-legged crown, a bird of the sun goddess Amaterasu). We go back to the 20th century, when a revolution broke out, forcing the government to establish Yatagarsu, an organization of assassins tasked with suppressing rebellion and eliminating those who oppose the authority of politics.
