Romanian developer Fun Labs continues its 21st-century foray into first-person shooter territory with America's Most Wanted: Nowhere to Hide, using the current global climate as a backdrop to hunt down fugitives from terrorism, crime, and lords. of war renegades. Players take the role of Randall Joyce, a retired counterterrorism operative, who tracks down world-class miscreants as a freelance, non-government supported agent. Operating outside the law and international convention, Joyce has free reign to eliminate the enemy using any means at his disposal.
As a cross between the mercenary and the modern bounty hunter, players have access to a large arsenal, ranging from picklocks and knives to shoulder-launched missiles and grenades. Movement options include sneak, dash, or sprint, with first- and third-person perspectives available for the best view in various situations. Joyce's health is monitored by an on-screen silhouette that reflects increasing damage as she receives injuries.
