Trailblazers is an unusual racing game available for PS4, PC and etc. The title was developed by the British studio Supergonk. Although it is the first game developed by this studio, its developers include veterans from Codemasters, Bizarre Creations and Lionhead. The title was published by Rising Star Games.
The game features an interesting mix of elements from titles like WipEout, Mario Kart, and Splatoon. Players take on the role of drivers of futuristic vehicles and compete on crazy tracks as part of 3v3 matches. While driving, vehicles leave a trail of the team's color. If a vehicle travels on a painted part of the track, it begins to accelerate. Therefore, using the trail left by the team members and driving on the paint left by the competition is very important to win. However, players must save the paint, as its supplies are not unlimited. This adds a strategic layer to racing and forces players to quickly adapt to the ever-changing situation.
Trailblazers features a variety of vehicles. Each of them has different aspects and parameters: some are faster than others or easier to handle. Players can also choose drivers among which there are aliens and robots.
