Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklistfor PC/Windows is the sixth installment in the popular action game series featuring Sam Fisher. It was produced by Ubisoft Toronto directed by Jade Raymond. The studio was supported by developers from Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Shanghai.

The game's story shows the fight with a fictional terrorist group called Engineers. Terrorists draft the Blacklist mentioned in the title which begins with an attack on an American air base and the threat of further action if the United States does not withdraw its troops from other parts of the world. The president forms a secret cell called the Fourth Echelon that includes Sam Fisher. The group's goal is to find out what the terrorists are planning, find their sponsors, and stop the attacks.

The main character, dressed in a distinctive suit and tactical glasses, participates in a series of dangerous missions. Fisher seeks out engineers and information about his next moves and travels around the world performing assignments not only in the United States, but also in Iraq, Indonesia and Paraguay. Missions offer not only various locations of action, but also different types of tasks. Fisher, in addition to infiltrating facilities occupied by enemy forces, rescues hostages, eavesdrops on conversations, kidnaps important people or steals important data.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist for PC/Windows offers three play styles: Ghost (avoid detection at any cost), Panther (silently executing enemies), and Stormtrooper (fighting enemies). After each mission, the player is awarded points in each of those three categories. Clancy's Splinter's Cell: The Blacklist includes fixes known from previous parts of the series, such as auto-execution on selected enemies.
