Sin City is under siege by terrorists, and it's up to the talented Rainbow Six team to take them out. The follow-up to the acclaimed 2006 squad-based shooter highlights new customization features and refined gameplay mechanics. The story of Vegas 2 runs simultaneously with the story of the first game, so a new team is now playable. The leader's name is Bishop, who can be created as a male or female operative with a selection of gears and weapons.
Killing terrorists, for example, or simply reaching a checkpoint earns character experience, represented by a meter on the heads-up screen. Once the meter is full, players will advance in rank and receive new equipment. Other ways to gain equipment include specializing in specific combat techniques. This A.C.E.S. (Advanced Combat Enhancement Specialization) offers rewards for skills in three areas: closed areas, assault and marksmanship.
Characteristics:
- Earn experience points by performing a variety of in-game actions in all game modes
- Unlock new types of gear and weapons by advancing in rank
- Engage in new multiplayer modes with improved hosting options
