Tokyo 42is an isometric action game for PC/Windows. The project was developed by SMAC Games and published by Mode 7, the studio behind titles like Frozen Synapse and Frozen Cortex.

Tokyo 42 is located in the futuristic version of the homonymous city. We take on the role of an assassin who, while carrying out lucrative contracts for him, discovers a plan that can change the fate of the world forever.

The action of Tokyo 42 for PC / Windows takes place in an open world that we observe from an isometric camera. However, the developers allowed players to rotate the camera 90 degrees in any direction, which is possible thanks to the fully three-dimensional graphics. As a result, we have no problems with visibility: they were typical of many two-dimensional productions of this type.
