The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria takes place during the Fourth Age, after the events of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. We play as dwarves, summoned to the titular mine by Gimli Lockbearer. They must recover the underground city and the treasures it contains. Your task is not easy, as Khazad-dum is full of dangers.
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria begins with an extensive character creator, where the player can create their own dwarf. The adventure itself takes place in dark hallways and hallways.
From the third-person perspective, the player explores underground tunnels, gathers valuable resources, and fights enemies. We will also have to pay attention to the state of our character, hunting for food, letting him sleep and controlling his temperature.
Iron, gold, quartz and mithril are used to make new equipment. Thanks to the complex crafting system, the player can recover forges, create new tools, armor, weapons, as well as repair, improve and enchant equipment that he already owns.
You can also find many amulets that increase our strength and wisdom. Dwarves can also build advanced machines and structures used as bases; either from scratch or using recovered monuments.
