The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing IIIis the third installment of the action RPG series that tells the story of young Van Helsing. The entire series, sometimes called "Diablo-like", was developed by an independent studio based in Hungary, Neocore Games, known primarily for the King Arthur series of strategy games.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing series tells the story of Abraham Van Helsing's legendary son. Abraham, a famous vampire hunter, being too old to continue his travels, sends his first-born son, who also possesses similar instincts, on a mission.

The young Van Helsing, accompanied by the ghost of Katarina, a nobleman, heads to the land of Borgovia to restore the imbalance between science and magic. Once he has defeated the main antagonist, it turns out that the place has a lot more problems than it initially seemed.

The latest installment in the series continues the stories of the previous games, and retains a gothic-steampunk atmosphere similar to that of Bram Stoker's famous Dracula. The game mechanics also remain unchanged and use proven solutions, although some improvements and new features have been introduced.
