The Evil Withinoriginally had the working name of Zwei, it is a mix of survival horror and action game with a TPP, which was released for PC, PS4 and etc, the Tango Gameworks studio is responsible for the production, led by the Japanese producer, Shinji Mikami, the father of games like Dino Crisis, Devil May Cry and Onimusha.

The producer is known for establishing the foundations of the genre called survival horror, which crystallized in Mikami's most important production: Resident Evil. After many side projects, such as Vanquish and Shadows of the Damned, Mikami decided to return to his roots and scare gamers once again.

The game tells the story of an ordinary detective named Sebastian, a hero who goes together with two partners to a gloomy town to investigate the crime scene in the local psychiatric facility built in Gothic style, and it turns out that the place where the murder was committed is completely empty. After walking through the hospital door, the detectives are witnessing a terrifying sight of brutally butchered bodies.

In the course of the investigation, the protagonist is suddenly attacked and loses his consciousness but upon waking up, the police officer accompanying him is killed before him but then begins a journey into darkness, and the real fight for survival begins in a world full of aggressive and bloodthirsty monsters.
