Terra Nilfor PC is an intriguing combination of strategy and puzzle game, which could be described as a city builder in reverse. Instead of building cities, our task is to restore life to the wastelands.
It was developed by Free Lives, also responsible for the warmly received Broforce (although it was initially the work of just three independent developers who released the first build of the game on itch.io) and published by Devolver Digital.
Terra Nil's gameplay is shown from an isometric perspective. The pace of the game is quite slow and takes place in procedurally generated wastelands located in different regions.
Our first step should always be to build a wind turbine to generate electricity and create infrastructure to irrigate the soil. This allows us to get rid of pollution, allowing plants to grow. Later, we can handle more complex tasks, such as restoring biodiversity, regulating local climate, and bringing in wildlife.
All of this requires building and power infrastructure. Once we finally manage to revitalize the ecosystem, we must pack everything up and move somewhere else. First, however, we must dismantle and recycle all buildings constructed.
