Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiancefor PC is a real-time war strategy game set in the universe of a popular film franchise. He initially worked at Russian studio Cats Who Play, known for Syria Warfare, but was removed from the project by publisher Slitherine in 2023.

Story-wise, the game is a prequel to the movie Terminator: Dark Fate. It is set in a post-apocalyptic future, where the remnants of humanity fight against the mechanical army of a killer AI, Legion.

The story traces the beginnings of human resistance. The player must lead a group of survivors, help them survive, recruit new members, and form an army to confront Legion.

Terminator: Dark Fate Defiance is a real-time strategy game focused on war. The player must face both the mechanical forces of the Legion and hostile human factions. We can use various types of firearms, combat lasers, drones, vehicles and planes.

As we progress through the game, we recruit more soldiers, develop their skills, and unlock better equipment.

A key mechanic is the machine destruction system. Each machine is built with multiple components, which damages the unit. The environment is also very destructible thanks to the realistic physics engine.
