The game was built on the foundations of previous installments. In Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master, the player's task is to beat the rhythm of the taiko drums. This is done using only two buttons. Red and blue symbols move on the screen, telling us when and how to hit the drum. The extent to which we follow these guidelines affects our final performance score.
