The sequel toSyberia:a well-known title and one of the best adventure games of all time. All video game media called it the best adventure game of 2002. The setting ofSyberia IIfor PC/Windows was written, like its predecessor, by Belgian writer and artist Benoit Sokal, who was also involved in the development of the title.

The story of the second Syberia for PC / Windows continues the events described in the first installment: Sokal himself admits that, at the beginning, there was a story that was divided into two parts: Syberia and Syberia II. The action begins where the first game ended, in the Russian city of Romansbourg. In this installment, the main characters are Kate and Hans who are accompanied by the mechanical Oscar. This time, Kate decides to follow Hans only for his personal reasons and lives behind family matters, work, etc. She becomes his companion and helps him discover the mystery of the mammoths.

The biggest change compared to the first installment, except for the story, is the quality of the graphics. The game became much more lively and the dynamics of the game increased. Many new graphic effects have been added, including dynamic shadows and animated snow. The action takes place in completely new locations (mainly open spaces) and the surroundings are not as empty as before. There are more people and side characters to encounter (including over 25 humans and 10 animals). There are also more dramatic scenes.
