Star Trek Resurgencefor PC is a narrative adventure game set in the titular science fiction universe. It was developed by Dramatic Labs, an independent studio founded by former members of the well-known Telltale Games.
The game Star Trek: Resurgence takes place in 2380, shortly after Star Trek: The Next Generation. Its main protagonists are First Officer Jara Rydek and Engineer Carter Diaz, serving aboard the U.S.S. Resolved.
They end up finding a trail of a mystery involving a conflict between two civilizations. How their adventure will end and what impact they will have on the world depends on our actions and choices. The game introduces new characters in addition to those already iconic to the Star Trek franchise.
Star Trek: Resurgence is a third-person game (TPP). To progress the story, the player must talk to NPCs and complete objectives. Along the way there are decisions to make, which affect the characters' opinions of us and the subsequent course of the story.
