Players can enter a world of heroes and villains in Spider-Man 3. After working through a tutorial, players can swing above the streets of New York City while completing 20 missions and facing off against Dr. Octopus and Mysterio. .

Spider-Man 3 features a variety of indoor and outdoor environments, as well as several timed levels and hostage situations. Throughout the game, players can exchange points earned for increased strength and health, and playing on a higher difficulty level can unlock extra content.
