The first official expansion ofSpellForce: The Order of Dawn. The plot ofThe Breath of Winterfocuses on the demon prince responsible for awakening Aryn, the ice dragon, who can destroy the world. The expansion introduces new surroundings, equipment, and abilities for the protagonist, as well as dozens of main quest quests and side quests.

The main story campaign takes approximately 40 hours to complete. The Breath of Winter also features free mode, where you can complete unique scenarios. It is worth noting that you can customize the game settings. The mechanics remain the same, so the game remains an RTS/RPG mix.

In addition to developing your player character, you also have to manage your base and your army, which consists of several units. The game also features a multiplayer mode for up to 3 players.
