Sky Force Reloadedfor PC, SWITCH and etc. is an old-school shooter (often called shoot 'em up or shmup) inspired by arcade classics. The game was developed by Polish studio Infinite Dreams, creators of two previous versions of the series: Sky Force, released in 2004, and Sky Force 2014.

The basic game mechanics remain the same. The player controls a small fighter plane that automatically flies to the top of the screen and fights hordes of enemies. The player must avoid hitting various obstacles and must collect useful items. Some items provide additional bonuses, while others equip the ship with better weapons.

The game is made more interesting thanks to battles with powerful bosses and a wide selection of weapons. The risky optional missions known from previous games in the series also returned during which the player must save civilians and receive large rewards for that.
