Shardpunk: Verminfallfor PC is a combination of role-playing game and turn-based strategy. It was developed by Polish studio Clockwork Pile.

The game is set in a steampunk universe invaded by hordes of humanoid rats. Humanity has lost the war against them and the player's task is to rescue as many people as possible from the besieged capital.

Shardpunk: Verminfall combines RPG mechanics and strategy, also adding some survival elements. The game focuses on turn-based combat, during which we command a small squad.

Eliminating enemies, however, is secondary. Our priority is to escape the level. The player must also gather resources, find survivors, and escort them to safe bunkers.

The game heavily emphasizes its survival elements. Resources are always scarce, never enough for all the player's needs. This forces difficult decisions to be made, such as who to treat or who to feed.
