Shakedown Hawaiiis an old school action game with a sandbox world for 3DS, PSV, etc. It is a sequel to Retro City Rampage. Both projects were developed by a team at Vblank Entertainment.
The action of Shakedown Hawaii takes place thirty years after Retro City Rampage. The protagonist of that story spent the last few years enjoying retirement and basking in the old bones of him under the Hawaiian sun. During these three decades, he has aged a lot and has gained a big belly. The campaign begins when dramatic events force him to take up arms again to rebuild his criminal empire. The campaign plot has a slightly absurd atmosphere and pokes fun at the most hackneyed themes of modern games.
The game mechanics improve the solutions of Retro City Rampage. The action is observed from a camera placed on top of the protagonist's head, and the city structure is open. We move between locations on foot or in one of the many vehicles available.
