In Secret Service, players take the role of an elite agent with the amazing responsibility of protecting the most powerful person in the world. Things go wrong from day one. An apparent terrorist attack on the capital on Inauguration Day brings down the POTUS, leaving agents on the scene to secure the grounds and neutralize the threat.

No one is safe as extremists infiltrate, and Secret Service agents take front-line roles to protect all of the nation's leaders. The game's story leads to first-person tactical shooting through a series of levels set around the famous landmarks of Washington, DC. The 2008 edition of Secret Service for PC, PS2 and Xbox 360 follows a 2001 release with the same title but a separate budget from Activision's 2001 for PC.
