Rise is a little friend who is thrust into a horrendous war between humans and aliens, on his home planet of Gamearth. After a brief encounter with a gigantic dinosaur robot, he wakes up in a shopping mall full of chaos and destruction.
It is there where you meet a Link who, with his final breath, gives you a gun. But this is no ordinary weapon, Shine is a revolver that has special abilities like a homing system, and a range of different types of bullets. After you get out of there, you engage in a constant mix of shooting Shine, manipulating his bullets, and thinking about his next task as much as blowing the shit out of everything.
Prepare to respawn in battle:
Don't let the adorable character designs fool you; Saving Gamearth is not going to be easy. You'll have to launch bursts of missiles and dodge traps as you fight to prevent the destruction of the planet. You'll have to pull out all the stops to survive as you take on fleets of deadly robots, oversized bosses, gigantic death wheels, and (of course) brain-munching zombies. Kid, you're not going to get out of this in one piece.
