Postcard: Reduxfor PC is a remake of the controversial Running With Scissors action game developed after almost 18 years since the initial release.
Due to an excess of unmotivated violence, the title was banned in many countries, which did not prevent it from becoming a cult production and gaining a community of devoted players.
The remake was developed by the creators of the original (as well as the entire series), and its main goal was to offer players' favorite game in a new and significantly revamped version.
The title is a reference to the American phrase "going postal". This describes a person who commits brutal acts of violence as a result of a stressful job. Such situations occurred in the years 1983-1997, when US post office employees shot more than 40 people in twenty similar incidents.
In the Running With Scissors game, we take on the role of The Postal Dude, who is overcome by a similar rage and takes to the streets of his city with the intention of murdering everyone who stands in his way.
The action takes place in more than a dozen varied levels, where the antihero unleashes his rage. To complete each of them, it is necessary to accumulate a certain number of points mainly, as you can guess, by murdering people.
