Past Cureis a debut project from independent, Berlin-based Phantom 8 Studio. The game described here is an action game with clearly visible stealth and horror elements. Among other platforms, the game is available for PC, PS4 and XONE.

The main protagonist of the game is Ian, a former soldier who has been locked up in a European prison for years and subjected to mysterious experiments that have allowed him to acquire supernatural abilities that allow him to control human minds and use telekinesis. Ian, however, has to pay a high price for his new powers, as he is becoming increasingly insane. The loss of his mental health has altered his perception of the surrounding reality.

Since he broke out, his main goal is to take revenge on whoever is responsible for his current condition. To achieve this, he uses the help offered by his brothers Markus and Sophia, an enigmatic double agent. With his help, Ian continues a chase that eventually leads him to criminal cartels, secret organizations, and corrupt scientists. This situation becomes more complicated when he realizes that a supernatural creature is looking for him.
