In the summer of 1944, World War II was coming to an end when the Allies launched two major operations that would push back German forces on the Western and Eastern Fronts at the same time.
The names of those operations were Overlord and Bagration. Operation Overlord began with the Normandy landings on D-Day, and ended with the Liberation of Paris, while Bagration - a lesser known but no less important operation - defeated the invading German forces in the east, driving them out of Soviet territory. . If either operation had gone wrong, the story could have been very different.
An ultimate test of military strategy, Order of War will challenge you to not only achieve America's most important victory on the Western Front, but will also put you in command of the German forces tasked with repelling the seemingly unstoppable Red Army offensive in the east. Even the most astute military men know that one man can make history, and that one man can change it.
