Nelly CootalotIt first appeared in a free AGS game back in 2007, and it was really gorgeous. It's very much worth playing, not only because it's an adorable little freebie in itself, but - well, let's get to that. This full-length, Unit-based follow-up continues following pirate Nelly on a search for her ghostly guide, William Bloodbeard, in an attempt to stop her evil brother from enslaving an army of wild birds to steal William's treasure. .
This is a very traditional three-act adventure, the middle being a strong section exploring a large island of locations, characters, puzzles and jokes, with a surprisingly long and satisfying final act. Possibly around eight hours if you take your time and make sure you find all the jokes.
