Like NBA Jam, Playgrounds features stylized characters and over-the-top dunks. It is playable with single player or multiplayer (local and online), and a variety of wacky alternative game modes.
Officially licensed by the NBA, the game features both active and retired players, with Allen Iverson facing modern ballers Steph.
As its title indicates, the game is officially licensed by the NBA and, as a result, features basketball icons past and present. You can see the full list of players who will be available at launch here. Saber has indicated that more players will be added after the release.
