Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy The Telltale Seriesis the new video game developed by Telltale Games.
The Telltale Series starts with the visuals and overall concept of the film and heads into new territory. There are things that reflect the continuity of the film, there are callbacks to the Marvel comic universe, and there is a bit of time in the mix.
The Guardians have been a team for some time, primarily focused on taking down the mad titan Thanos, who is a much more visible threat than the Marvel Filmmaker Universe currently is.
The episode starts strong, The Guardians receive a call from the Nova Corps, who need help to fight Thanos; Soon, their ship crashes and they stumble into battle. He might feel a little abrupt if he's not familiar with the Guardians, but the fights between the team fill in most of the gaps with his personality and dynamics. The entire episode feels true to their characters, especially how they are portrayed in the film, and is a good introduction to who they all are without relying on long exposition.
offers a new story of the universe's least popular heroes, the band of ragged outlaws who call themselves Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of indescribable power. Each of these Guardians has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of his kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from his hands.
