The best-selling life simulator developed by Maxis, a studio that specializes in the genre (they have created SimCity, SimTown and other titles). The Sims allows the player to care for a virtual family of Sims.

Will Wright, the creator of the famous SimCity strategy game series, has decided to create a life simulation that possesses the smallest details of ordinary life. In the Sims game, players take control over the Sims family, deciding on all aspects of their existence. The player determines his place of residence and the standard of home furnishings; They choose a place of work and choose certain activities that decide about their future career. It only depends on the player whether life will be easy and calm or condemned to crime.

The virtual world, which is created in the game, realizes our monotonous reality. Young Sims work hard for a pittance and after returning home from work, they watch TV or visit their neighbors.
