Jalopyis a simulation game for PC / Windows in which we travel the world at the wheel of a fictional car, Laika 601 Deluxe, modeled after the cult Trabant. It was developed by Minskworks, a studio created by Greg Pryjmaczuk, a Belarusian developer who worked on the F1 series between 2009 and 2014. Jalopy was published by Excalibur Publishing, best known for an extensive portfolio of various simulation games, headed by the bestselling SCS Software Productions (Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator).

The action takes place in the late 80s and 90s of the last century, when many ordinary citizens of the former communist bloc want to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Western European capitalism.

In the game, we sit behind the wheel of the fictional Laika 601 deluxe, modeled after one of the cult vehicles of the communist period: the famous East German Trabant. Our task is to go through the countries of Eastern Europe and do various "businesses of our lives" that will allow us to grow quickly and become a real king of capitalism in the making.
