Infinium Strike is a spaceship defense game developed by Codex Worlds for the PC. Set for full release on July 14, it is placed in a real-time strategic game tune-up. Humans have established colonies throughout the known universe, but they are always under constant threat against the Wrog spaceships - bio-mechanical spaceships that are out to destroy all species living in their path. The human race had no match against the Wrog until they discovered Infinium, a living metal that the Wrog used to fuse themselves into machines. Using Infinium, high-powered turrets and attack aircraft can then be created and deployed aboard the Liberty Strike battlecarrier, giving the humans a fair playing field against the Wrog threat.
In Infinium Strike, players start with the Freedom Strike less turret. The ship is stationary and cannot be controlled and the Wrog ships can come and attack from all directions which is divided into quadrants. Turrets can be placed on the ship facing these quadrants to defend against enemy ships. Drones can also be deployed to defend their specific quadrant.
