Hotline Miami, published on PC, PS4, etc., was created by a talented Swedish author of rare indie games: Jonatan Söderström, also known as "Cactus" and a musician named Dennis Wedin from a band called Fuckin Warewolf ASSO. Together, as Dennation Games, they created a game that feels a lot like the first Grand Theft Auto.
The action takes place in Miami during the 1980s. The plot revolves around mysterious calls recorded on the protagonist's answering machine that convince him to commit violent murders. You are in control of a muscular bully who goes through over 20 multi-stage levels.
Their missions are usually limited to assassinating all opponents in a given location. The player must skillfully choose between stealth actions and open combat with large groups of enemies. Since there are a large number of armed opponents, you can choose from 35 types of weapons, such as pistols, rifles, shotguns, knives, baseball bats, crossbars and, as a last resort, the protagonist's fists.
