Homefrontis a game that belongs to the popular first-person shooter genre. The game was developed byKAOS Studios, the creators of the well-received Frontlines: Fuel of War. The game is stylized as a modern war movie complemented by advanced multiplayer.

The story of Homefront was created by American screenwriter John Milius (the creator of the Apocalypse Now script). It takes place in the year 2027 and talks about the events that occurred ten years after the economic crisis in the United States.

In the game, the player takes on the role of a member of the American resistance fighting against the occupier, North Korean forces. Three companions join the player during battles and assist him in combat: Hooper, Connor and Rianna. However, it is worth mentioning that the player has no impact on his behavior. On top of that, sometimes resistance groups and even the US military join the battles.
