If you're hoping for instant fun, perhaps you should consider keeping an eye on the game and waiting for a more advanced state before moving forward. In the world of Skin and Hold Out, you are one of the survivors of the cataclysm that occurred near the end of the 20th century.
This cataclysm has led to a brutal rise in sea levels around the world. Today, it is not well known whether there is still a real "land" somewhere, but it is already known that this reef was saved after the catastrophe. Well...not just that, actually, and that's more of the problem.
