Heroes Over Europeis a sequel to an arcade game set in World War II: Heroes of the Pacific released in 2005 for PC and Xbox and PS2 consoles. Both titles were developed by Transmission Games, formerly known as IR Gurus.
As the title suggests, this time we move from the Pacific Ocean to the heat of the conflict, that is, Europe. The campaign tasks you with a series of missions that include famous battles from World War II, from the Battle of London to the Fall of Berlin in 1945.
The game offers only one camera mode, from the outside, but features many aircraft, unlocked along with progress on missions and side objectives. Among the aircraft available are: Bf 109, Fw 190, Ju 87 Stuka, P 51, Spitfire and Hurricane.
The campaign is filled with aerial combat as well as attacking targets on land and water or covering friendly bombers. In combat, you can use the so-called Ace Kill that allows you to hit the most fragile point of an enemy machine.
In addition to the single-player campaign, the developers prepared several varied game modes, including multiplayer - up to 16 people can participate in a single battle.
