Helibornepublished on PC/Windows is a multiplayer military action game that combines elements of popular online shooters and arcade helicopter simulators. The title is a debut project from the JetCat Games studio. Production was largely financed by the company Practica Seed Capital KUB, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Mechanics in Heliborneis based on popular MMO titles such as World of Tanks and World of Warplanes, but here, players can control helicopters. The game features dozens of helicopter models produced by different countries during some decades of the last century. Each machine, of course, is designed based on its real counterpart and faithfully represents elements such as its appearance, technical parameters and original war paints of its military forces.

The game boils down to a team competition for up to 16 players fighting on maps that mimic key locations in recent military conflicts, such as Vietnam and Afghanistan. Production combines elements of tactics and simulation and requires strategic planning of the skillful actions and maneuvers of a helicopter, taking into account advanced flight mechanics, the various properties of each machine and different external factors (e.g. terrain, climate). Like other productions of this genre, the game uses an advanced and in-progress development system, players can customize the looks and parameters of their helicopters and implement useful improvements in battles.
