Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rockfor PC is the third full game in the Guitar Hero series and the fourth game overall. The gameplay remains similar to previous games: with a guitar-shaped controller, you must coordinate by pressing the five fret buttons and strumming the notes that scroll on the screen.
Missing notes will cause your performance meter to go down; If the meter drops too low, then the performance is a failure and you will have to try again. In career mode, you play the role of an aspiring rock star. Starting with easier songs in small venues, you must successfully complete the tracks to become a superstar. Each venue you play requires a certain number of songs to be performed before you can move on to the next bigger venue.
