Gangs of Sherwoodfor PC is an action game, designed primarily for cooperative play. It was developed by a team at Appeal Studios, developers whose portfolio includes the cult game Outcast. It was published by Nacon.

The game takes us on a journey to a universe inspired by the legends of Robin Hood. The Sheriff of Nottingham came into possession of the Philosopher's Stones, which represented a great technological leap for his army, making it stronger than ever.

To the rescue of a town ruled by an iron fist comes none other than Robin Hood, accompanied by his faithful friends: Lady Marion, Brother Tuck and Little John.

In Gangs of Sherwood we observe the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game offers us the vast Sherwood Forest, above which rises the flying castle of the Sheriff of Nottingham. Our base of operations is a hideout, where Robin and his entourage prepare for their next missions.

Traversing a variety of locations, we try to steal everything we can from the rich, so we can then give the captured loot to the poor... or leave it for themselves. Accomplishing this task is not easy, since the places we visit are full of enemies.

During dynamic confrontations, we must take advantage of the strengths of each character, who differ from each other in fighting style, preferred weapons and skills. In addition to ranked soldiers, stronger units and even powerful combat machines or, finally, bosses stand in our way.
