Players who like their racing games on the destructive side can take to the streets of Full Auto 2: Battlelines, and blow up opponents and almost everything else within the environment. Blasting boxes, monorails and other vehicles can stop an opponent in their tracks, giving players a chance to move forward. Players have a total selection of 27 cars in five different classes, including muscle cars, commercial vehicles and low riders.

Players can then choose to customize their ride by adding one or more of 20 explosive weapons, and changing the color and wheels. Players must race their way through a multi-path campaign with over 50 events where a battle rages for control of the city of Staunton. Players need to conquer three districts in the metropolis, and they can achieve this goal by taking control of enemy cars and weapons through activities such as point-to-point, circuit, and sand racing.
