F1 2013is the next edition in the series of licensed racing games, developed by Codemasters, who specialize in this genre. For the first time, the game allows you to play as Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Sergio Pérez (McLaren - Mercedes).

The game is available in two editions: standard and classic. Both allow you to play as any of the contestants from the 2013 season and drive through virtual counterparts of authentic tracks, or participate in classic races from the 1980s. The difference between the two editions comes down to the races from the 90s , at the time when drivers like Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi and Gerhard Berger competed against each other.

The developers came up with new solutions and reshaped the controls to make it resemble the sports racing experience even better. Players can choose from a variety of single-player and multiplayer modes. It is possible to race through a classic racing mode, online multiplayer mode and split screen mode.
