F.E.A.R.for PC is a first-person shooter game designed by the creators of Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, The Matrix Online, and the No One Lives Forever series.
The acronym F.E.A.R. stands for First Encounter Assault and Recon, which is the name of a special government military unit designed to combat all types of terrorist activity. All members of the squad go through conventional training (shooting, hand-to-hand combat, etc.), but are also trained in paranormal abilities (e.g. superhuman speed, which functions like bullet time in The Matrix movies).
In The F.E.A.R.™ - Extraction Point Expansion Pack takes you to the next chapter: now Alma is seeking revenge, additional weapons to fight a supernatural army of terrifying new and familiar enemies.
F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate, a new standalone expansion pack, offers both experienced players and those who have never played the F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) the ability to jump in and experience fear with completely new equipment in a completely new experience.
