Dying Light 2is an open-world first-person action game in which we will go through a city invaded by zombies, the production is a sequel to the 2015 box office hit Dying Light.
It features a story-based single-player mode and a multiplayer mode. It was developed by the Polish studio Techland, known for the shooters in the series Dead Island or Call of Juarez, among others.
The game takes place twenty years after the end of the first part, in 2034. It tells a new story and it is not necessary to know the plot of the first part to understand the story of the sequel.
After the zombie outbreak in the city of Harran was controlled, government and corporate scientists began investigating the mutant strain of rabies that caused the tragedy. They sought commercial and military uses to make a profit.
However, the chase for money leads to disaster, and in late 2021, the virus escapes from a Geneva research laboratory. The extremely contagious disease leads to a global pandemic, anarchy, and the collapse of civilization. Within two years, almost the entire population of the Earth is infected. There are only a few settlements left in the world and one city: Villedor, where the game takes place.
