Based on the original 1988 film,Die Hard: Nakatomi Plazainvites players to take on the role of New York police officer John McClane, as he stumbles into a Christmas Eve terrorist plot high above Los Angeles, in which his wife and workers are held hostage. Nakatomi Plaza offers three difficulty levels, multiple control schemes (joystick, mouse, keyboard), and a wide range of weapons for the McClane worker, including a 9mm pistol, submachine gun, sniper rifle, M-16 machine gun, and M-60.
Players will have the full complement of items available (medic kits, 2-way radio, lighter, fire extinguisher, wire cutter, flash bang grenades, and more) as they explore over 30 single-player missions spanning both the film based and original scenarios.
The film's characters, such as Hans Gruber, brothers Karl and Tony, Holly McClane, and helpful LA Police Sgt. Al Powell, are featured in Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza. Players track health, stamina, morale and ammunition through a HUD, which also monitors the current weapon in use and other inventory items.
