Disney Dreamlight Valleyis an adventure and life simulation game, distributed in a free-to-play model with micropayments. It was developed by Gameloft.

The game takes us on a journey into the fantastic universe of Disney and Pixar, and more specifically, the titular valley, which was once full of life and home to iconic cartoon characters. The happy time ended when the land was tormented by a cataclysm called Oblivion, which caused Night Thorns to grow in the valley, taking the memories of its inhabitants.

They have nothing left to do but lock themselves in the Castle of Dreams and wait for rescue. Fortunately all is not lost yet, because we appear in the valley; Now it is on our shoulders to rescue its inhabitants and restore the old order in this place.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). We travel through several kingdoms maintained in a style typical of some Disney or Pixar creations.

In each of them we have to face numerous challenges, solve puzzles and complete the tasks set before us. All this to save the inhabitants of Dreamlight Valley and bring them back to the valley.

The valley itself acts as a hub that we go to between expeditions. In order for this place to vibrate with life again, we have to take care of its reconstruction, which implies the need to build new structures (and improve those already built) and decorate the area with thousands of decorative elements.
