DiRT Showdownis a special installment of PC/Windows racing games from Codemasters. The production abandons the series' simulation roots in favor of more crazy, spectacular, arcade gameplay.

In DiRT Showdown, we get behind the wheel of fictitious licenses and vehicles to participate in a great motors event. The developers put emphasis on spectacular gameplay, arcade driving model and impressive scenes. Ubiquitous destruction is also an important part of production. While playing, we have to fight for the best scores and survive against opponents who stop at nothing.

Showdown features many polished and varied tracks located in locations such as Colorado, London, San Francisco, Yokohama and Michigan. Most of them have the form of a closed arena with an audience that is supposed to intensify the atmosphere of a show and competition. In the game, there are three types of vehicles at our disposal: racing vehicles, trucks and buggies. The artists made sure that each of them is damaged in collisions in a spectacular way.
