Depth, a fascinating video game developed by Digital Confectioners and released in 2014 for Microsoft Windows, offers a unique experience in the asymmetrical multiplayer first-person shooter genre. In this exciting title, players immerse themselves in underwater environments, engaging in an intense fight between treasure-seeking divers and hungry sharks.

The gameplay is simple but exciting: divers have the mission of escorting and protecting an automated submersible while collecting sunken treasures. Armed with a variety of weapons, including harpoons and explosives, divers use the collected treasure to acquire essential equipment.

On the other hand, sharks, with various species each with unique abilities, evolve and acquire new skills by hunting and devouring divers. Victory can be achieved by exhausting respawns on either side, successfully escorting the sub to an extraction point as a diver, or destroying the sub as a shark.

The Depth project began in 2009 as a modest mod for Unreal Tournament 3, led by Killing Floor's Alex Quick. After evolving and being ported to UDK between 2010 and 2012, the game became an independent title. Despite a brief stagnation in its development, the partnership with Digital Confectioners in 2013 revitalized the project. In 2016, Digital Confectioners fully acquired the project and continued developing this underwater title full of exciting encounters and intriguing strategies.
