Debrisfor PC/Windows is an action-adventure game with survival horror elements from Canadian independent studio Moonray Studios, which used feedback from renowned psychologists.
In Debris, you play as a group of divers, whose task is to film a meteorite located beneath the Arctic ice, as the space rock can function as an incredibly efficient source of clean energy. However, things go wrong, as an explosion blocks the protagonists' way back. From that point on, the goal changes to trying to find another way out of the underwater maze before the oxygen runs out.
Debris for PC/Windows is an FPP game. The production focuses on the exploration of the ocean depths, similar in size to New York's Manhattan. They are full of mysterious, beautiful, bio-luminescent creatures that, as the protagonists will soon discover, can also be dangerous. It is worth noting that the behavior of the local fauna is not written in any way, so you can never be sure whether a predator will attack you or just walk away. Fortunately, divers are not helpless, as they can use futuristic tools, which can function as weapons when necessary.
Because their oxygen can be quickly depleted (although it can be partially restored using reserves carried by a squid-like robot), one by one, the divers gradually succumb to madness. The gameplay is also non-linear, and your decisions not only affect your path, but also the end of the adventure.
