Chinatown Detective Agency is an expanded point-and-click adventure game. The game was developed by the independent studio General Interactive, and the source of inspiration for its creators was not only the Carmen Sandiego games, very popular in the eighties and nineties of the 20th century, but also the film Blade Runner, the series of television Novel Black Mirror and The Da Vinci Code.
The Chinatown Detective Agency takes us on a trip to the cyberpunk version of Singapore. In 2032, humanity was on the verge of moral and economic collapse, and although Singapore was until now the last bastion of order, little by little global chaos begins to penetrate it.
The main character of the game is Amira Darma, once a rising star of Interpol and now a beginner private detective, who in the quest to solve criminal puzzles has to take care of the development of her company... ...and herself . . Over time, Amira becomes involved in a great intrigue that threatens the entire Lion City. So not only the fate of Amira, but also the future of Singapore depends on our decisions.
