Boom Simulatorfor PC is a fun PC simulation game about the life of a modern wanderer. It was developed by Ragged Games and published by PlayWay.
We play as a resident of an American city, who ends up losing everything, ending up on the street.
From that moment on, the player can decide how the protagonist's life goes. We can accept the life of a vagabond, look for work, take revenge on those responsible for our misery or become the local legend of the city.
Despite its title, Bum Simulator completely ignores realism. The game aims to be a fun arcade sandbox that doesn't take itself seriously.
The events are shown from the first person perspective. The world is open and freely explorable, full of interesting characters and optional activities. The game primarily revolves around survival, which can be done using the player character's wanderer powers.
We can also beg, collect cans, create cardboard shelters, train pigeons and learn the mysteries of the alchemy of alcohol.
All of this is presented in a humorous way. Our objectives during the campaign vary; one of the missions, for example, tasks us with solving the mystery of the rat people who live in the sewers.
